He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughter Michelle; his son-in-law John Reyer Afamasaga of Oxford; his children, Brent Johnson of Austin, Emily Johnson of Florida and Sarah Johnson of Beloit; his granddaughters, Bailey Pillow of Florida and Kylie Voelker of Denver; his sister Mary DeArmond (Bill) of Abilene; his stepsister Laura Ross; and his siblings-in-law, Janine Johnson of Hulbert, Maggie Harr (Jerry) of Beloit, Jane DeClue (Barney) of Dodge City, Diana Wendell of Hutchinson, Bill Wendell (Marty) of Beloit, Jerry Wendell (Amy) of Simpson and Tom Wendell of Beloit.

Memorials may be given to St. John's Memorial Trust Fund or Solomon Valley Hospice.
