He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph and Loretta Catherine Kimminau (Weingardt); and his siblings, Victor Kimminau, Urban Kimminau, Patricia Flageolle, Julia Hyde, Susan Kimminau and David Kimminau.
He is survived by: his wife Lorena Kimminau; his children, Scott Kimminau (Kathy) of Arvada, Teresa Bonfante (Todd) of Aurora, Todd Kimminau (Roxanne) of Beloit, KS and Leanne Eilert (Leo) of Beloit, KS; his grandchildren, Kelsey Hankins (Kyle), Ciara Kimminau, Lexie Kimminau, Tanner Kimminau, Emma Bonfante, Abigail Bonfante, Elliot Kimminau, TeJay Kimminau, Garrett Kimminau (Sage), Lyddia Crawford (Devin) and Maggie Eilert; and his brothers, Ferdinand Kimminau (Vi), Albert Kimminau, Stanley Kimminau and Kenneth Kimminau. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
