He is survived by: his wife Joan (Carrico); his children, Dan Ellenz (Julie), Karen Pestinger (Mike) and Craig Ellenz (Sarah); his siblings, Gene (Caroline), Larry Ellenz (Velma) and Marilyn Ellenz; his sister-in-law Carolyn Ellenz; his grandchildren, Garrett, Brad Ellenz (Lyn), Matt (Kylie), Blake Pestinger (Amanda), Ashley Foster (Tanner) and Taylor Ellenz (Arrow); and his stepgranddaughters, Katie Wilkerson (Mary) and Rachel Zimmer (Jesse). He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to the St. John's Catholic Church or Solomon Valley Hospice.
