She was predeceased by : her father Eldon Kadel; her father-in-law Bernard Eck; and her sister Patty Smith (Kadel). She is survived by : her mother Arlene Kadel (Vernon); her significant other Doug Eck; her children, Lindsay Gray (Pat), Lance Eck, Jordan Eck, Lauren Diaz, Logan Eck (Halie) and Tory; her grandchildren, Hudson, Dakota, Gunner, Zoey, Kannon, Sophia, Stella, Arison, Aiden and Scarlett; her siblings, Mike Kadel, Kelly Kadel and Susan Newell; her mother-in-law Margaret Eck; her siblings-in-law, Jay Eck, Donna Eck and Mary Kadel; and her close friend Kasey Pruitt.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Roberts Family Funeral Home (910 N Campbell Ave, Beloit, KS 67420). A rosary was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. John's Catholic Church (701 E Court St, Beloit, KS 67420).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Family Expense Fund, USD 273 Educational Foundation or the Post Rock Humane Society.
