It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ardith Peak of Bendena, Kansas, who passed away on June 25, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Gatewood and Vivian Gatewood (Elliott). She is survived by: her family Kin; her children, Sharon Sellers (Wayne), Shannon Pickman (Jerry), Saint Joe, Darrell Peak, Jeremy Peak (D'Ete) and Kerry Dugger (Marty); her grandchildren, Camille Hollingsworth (Micah), Caleb Sellers (Jessica), Jordan Sellers (Kaylee), Nicole Pummel (Spencer), Nathan Pickman (Alyssa), Bethany Pickman, Lilly White, Thomas, Hanna Peak, Regan and Rylan Dugger; her great grandchildren, Maive, Margo Hollingsworth, Carter, Ava Sellers, Robbie Sellers, Maverick, Barrett, Michael, Watson Pummel, Theodore and Genevieve Pickman; her husband Tom; and her brother David Gatewood.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home (208 N 5th St, Atchison, KS 66002). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Benedict's Church (676 St Benedicts Rd, Bendena, KS 66008).
