He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Aksamit and Albina Aksamit (Kroboth); his parents-in-law, Clarence and Donna Blaha; his son Andrew Philip; and his siblings-in-law, Daryn Blaha and Julie Blaha.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his son Matthew; his daughter-in-law Elicia Aksamit; his granddaughter Addison Aksamit; his sister Irma Benda; his siblings-in-law, Danny Blaha, Mark Blaha (Beverly) and Nancy Towler (Jim); and his cousin Marilyn Kirkendall. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
