With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Delores Evelyn Walker of Benton, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 28, 2025 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Charles Spires and Ruth Evelyn Fleming; her brothers, Raymond, Charles and Leon Spires; her children, Connie Brown, Ronald and Steven Davis; and her grandchildren, Anastasia Davis and Matthew Carley.
She is survived by: her children, Dwayne Davis of Augusta and Karen Carley (Donald); her daughter-in-law Jane Davis of Rose Hill; and her sister Patricia Shields of Howard. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
