We announce the death of Gene Allen Wilson of Blue Rapids, Kansas, who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 74. Gene will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Esther Wilson (Zabel) and Bernard J. Wilson. He is survived by: his brothers, James B. "JB" Wilson (Beverly) and Darrel G. Wilson (Theresa); his niece Andrea H. Wilson; and his nephew Derek M. Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gene A. Wilson Memorial Fund, to be designated at a later date.
