Jean Thornton-Harris Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Thornton-Harris of Blue Rapids, Kansas, who passed away on October 15, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean Thornton-Harris to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jefferson D. Wise and Mildred E. Wise (Gray); her siblings, Donald Wise and Wilma Pierson; and her brother-in-law Jerry Gellinger.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronald Thornton (Laura) of Manhattan, Donald Thornton (Traci) of Manhattan and Jeffery Thornton (Michele) of Waterville; her sister Betty Gellinger of Marysville; and her grandchildren, David Thornton, Sara Hunter, Tyler Thornton and Dustin Thornton. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, along with many other relatives and friends.
Memorials are suggested to either the Blue Rapids United Methodist Church or the Valley Heights Food Pantry and may be sent in care of Christie-Anderes Funeral Home at PO Box 61, Waterville, Kansas 66548.
