He was predeceased by: his parents, William Fredrick and Iva Mae Meyer (Firmen); his siblings, Gerald Allan Meyer, David Meyer, Bob Meyer, Bill Meyer, Harold Meyer, Ronnie Meyer and Betty Kind; and his niece Shelly.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Louise Etter; his daughter Kim Howell (Craig) of North Platte; his grandchildren, Chris of North Platte, Nebraska, Zach of North Platte, Nebraska and Bella Howell of North Platte, Nebraska; his daughter Kristi Meyer of Blue Rapids; his grandchildren, Odessa Jones (Zack) of Post Falls, Michael Chilson (Dani) of Topeka and Kaitlyn Chilson of Libby Montana; his daughter Jeannie Carder (David) of Blue Rapids; his grandchild Gates Nicholson (Tyler); his great grandchild Oaklynne of Blue Rapids; his grandchild Shyanne Schmitz (Mason); his great grandchild Noelle Schmitz of Blue Rapids; his grandchildren, Gary and Emily Hutson of Blue Rapids; and his sister Deanna Remmers of Alabama. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
