He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Holmes and Lela Holmes (Murphy); his wife Donna Graeinski; his daughter Kimberly Reidlinger; and his siblings, Archie, Joe and Rita Kay.
He is survived by: his son John Holmes Jr. (Delilah); his stepson Charlie Price of Chicago, IL; his granddaughter Amy Holmes; his sister-in-law Peggy Holmes; and his siblings, Ronnie, Alta, Mary Sue and Judy.
A memorial fund is established and will be designated later.
