She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Christiansen and Edna Elbe Christiansen; her spouse Delos W. Mayo; her siblings, Morris Christiansen, Flossie Brotton, Christine Hobbs and Donelda Cochran; her sons-in-law, Rodney Gerberding and Tom Creel; her grandson-in-law David Gannaway; and her great grandchild Angel Hendrick.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Ann (Dean Bruey), Delma Gerberding and Doris Jo Creel; her grandchildren, Wendy Gannaway, Ty Gerberding (Kristin), Todd Gerberding (Deirdre), Shannon Garten (John), Jarod Bruey (Sarah), Shelby Tencleve (Jed), Callie Effland (Kelly) and Hayley Thompson (Garett); her great grandchildren, Tanner, Kenzie, Kaitlyn Gannaway, Zach (Dakotah), Hayley Gerberding, Kira, Kylie Gerberding, Kyler, Kassidy, Brayson Bruey, Alexis, Amber Carroll, Lucas, Jefferson, Rachel, Laura Garten, Tristan, Keaton, Brooks Tencleve, Ensley, Pierce Effland, Parker and Baker Thompson; and her great great grandchildren, Emerson Bruey, Hazel and Drew Gerberding. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Prairie Rose Funeral Home (602 E Main St, Anthony, KS 67003). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
