With sadness, we share the passing of Clausie Smith (Bonner Springs, Kansas). Clausie, born on March 9, 1937, passed away on August 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clausie Smith Sr. and Mildred Carol Thompson Smith. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Borth; his daughters, Jill Holder (Allen) of Olathe, Melody Pence (Donnie) of Allen and Angela Skwarlo (Stan) of Lawrence; his sister Gene Ruth Nutt (Danny) of Sugar Land, Texas; and his grandchildren, Andrew Holder (Sarah) of Olathe, Zachary Holder (Heather) of Camas, Washington, Stan Swarlo (Jordan) of Oceanside, California, Sam Skwarlo (Sadie) of San Diego, Shane Skwarlo of San Diego, Katie Nolan (Matt) and Kelsey Pence of Dallas. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; several nephews and a niece; and a community of good friends.
