He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin E. Kempton and Doris J. Kempton. He is survived by: his wife Gerry E. Kempton; his children, Valerie Mann (Brandon Mann), Susan Thorne-Thomsen (Carl Thorne-Thomsen) and Curtis Kempton, Jr. (Natalie Kempton); his grandchildren, Kinsey Cahill, Corey Mann, Patrick Cahill, Avery Cahill, Delaney Cahill, Ian Thorne-Thomsen, Ava Thorne-Thomsen, Ella Thorne-Thomsen, Carlie Kempton, Kate-Elisabeth Kempton, Janie Kempton and Chase Kempton; and his sister Kathleen Zimmers of Moline, Kansas..
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Green Lawn Cemetery.
