She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Robert, Edith Gravatt, Albert and Rose Marie Pant; her uncle Mark Willits; and her cousin Cory Willits.
She is survived by: her parents, Dwaine Pant and Marian Pant Smith; her siblings, Erica Banks (Brian) and Jeremy Pant (Jess) of Joplin, MO; her significant other Jan Isabell; her niece Emma Banks; and her nephews, Brody and Easton Pant.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home (214 Oak St, Bonner Springs, KS 66012). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (21801 Johnson Dr, Shawnee, KS 66218). A Mass was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Compassion International, Colorado Springs, CO 80997-0004 where Emily sponsored two young vulnerable boys living in impoverished countries to help fund urgent needs for food, medical assistance, school supplies, and other necessities. This charity was very close to her heart.
