He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Shelton and Huba Shelton (Youngblood); his son Christopher Shelton; his grandson Marshall Beatty; and his sister Rosie Hyde (Jim).
He is survived by: his wife Bette Shelton; his daughters, Penny Mynster (Richard) of Louisburg, KS., Pamela Shelton of Richmond, MO, Phyliss Beatty of Richmond, MO. and Patty Ponder (Don) of Easton, Kansas.; and his sister Carol Hale (Jim) of Sparta, MO..
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Bonner Springs Cemetery (801 Sheidley Ave, Bonner Springs, KS 66012).
