With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Dean Owens (Bonner Springs, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 30, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Owens and Barbara Owens. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Owens; his son Kyle Owens; and his siblings, William Owens of Valdosta, Delores Steen and Sandy Haile of Loveland, Colorado. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
