He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ragan and Grace Ragan (Hanna); and his wife Gini. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Ragan (Kim) of Wichita, Leslie Ensign (Pat), Michael Ragan of Bonner Springs and Kelly McClellen (Ross) of Edwardsville, Kansas; his grandchildren, Kayla Ragan, Kaci Kozik (Kyle), Ryan Ensign (Schyler), Allison Kukawka (Brady), Kylee Nicolay (Cassy), Jacob McClellen and Taylor McClellen (Daniel Martin); and his great grandchildren, Rella, Cora Kozik, Payton Nelson, Ragan Ensign and Baby Kukawka. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
