He is survived by: his wife Angela Kay Tuxhorn; his son Darrin Vanderbilt (Tara) of Brookville; his grandsons, Carson D. Vanderbilt of Manhattan and Spencer C. Vanderbilt of Overland Park, Kansas; and his sister Rosalie Harris of Salina. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
