He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollis Ward "Jack" and Erma Levenia Ferrin; and his siblings, Merle, Lucille, Mildred, Vern, Lyle, Nadine, Naomi, Clifford and Annie.
He is survived by: his children, Mona Stegman of Overland Park, KS, Brian Ferrin (Judd) of Poway, CA, Judd Ferrin of Olathe, KS and Gregg Ferrin of Green Cove Springs, FL; his grandsons, Matt Stegman of Overland Park, KS and Adam Stegman (Aubrey); and his great grandchild Ellora of Ft. Worth, TX..
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Legacy Christian Church (10150 Antioch Rd, Overland Park, KS 66212). Viewing will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Minnis Mortuary- Bucklin (214 S Main St, Bucklin, KS 67834). The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Bucklin Cemetery.
