With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ogle Hickman of Bucyrus, Kansas, born in Pittsburg, Kansas, who passed away on May 31, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Ogle leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Ogle may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ogle "Jack" Hickman and Aileen Hickman. He is survived by: his former wife Virginia Hickman of Bucyrus, KS; his children, Dan (Jana) Hickman and Kristin Hickman of Overland Park, KS; and his grandsons, Patrick and William Hickman.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Dengel & Son Mortuary – Louisburg Chapel (1 Aquatic Dr, Louisburg, KS 66053). Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Dengel & Son Mortuary - Louisburg (1 Aquatic Dr, Louisburg, KS 66053).
