Betty Lou Hill Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Hill of Buhler, Kansas, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas A. Morris and Edna E. Morris (Lisman); her daughter Lanette Mesa; and her siblings, Vesta Cooper (Harland), Eula Mae Morris, Claude Morris (Doris) and Amos Morris (Esther).
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Hill (Shirla) of Mountain Home, AR and Debra Crose of Hutchinson; her son-in-law Dennis Mesa of Olathe; and her grandchildren, Tomisha Broach (Jason), Russell Hill, Krista Cannon (Aaron), Andrea Mesa-Leathers (Chris), Brittany Mesa-Algarra (Nathan), Jessica Wingler (Jason), Megan Fitzwater (Dustin) and Richard Van Deusen. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and many extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:15 AM and at 10:30 AM at the Elliott Chapel (1219 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church for the Doers Sunday School Class, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
