Lois Marie Birkey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lois Marie Birkey of Buhler, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Snyder and Gladys Snyder; her siblings, Ruth, Allen, Melvin, Kenneth and Alta; and her grandson Jayd.
She is survived by: her children, Lowell Birkey (Dianne), Marlin Birkey (Cherie), Dellis Birkey (Sharon) and Marcia Weaver (Dave); and her sister Alma Schloneger. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Eastlawn Cemetery (5920 N West Rd, Newton, KS 67114). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Whitestone Mennonite Church (629 Crescent Dr, Hesston, KS 67062).
