We bid farewell to LaVern Everett Steinle of Bunker Hill, Kansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 26, 2025 at the age of 93. LaVern Everett touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, David W. Steinle and Emma Steinle (Luerman); his wife Corlene Chancy Swan; his sisters, Esther Foran, Edna Small and LaVada Small; and his great grandchild Luke Steinle.
He is survived by: his children, Curtis Steinle (Kay) of Garden City, Holly Betts (Larry) of Waldo, Kirby Steinle (Lindsey) of Russell, Martin Steinle of Bunker Hill, Scott Steinle (Connie) of Bunker Hill, Melissa Leslie (Scott) of Boring and Maribeth Rush (Kit) of Geneseo, Kansas; and his sister Velda Hudnall of Great Bend. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren, and 2 (1 pending) great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has established a memorial for the Bunker Hill Community Center.
