He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Burns and Mary Burns (Haney); his wife Marian; and his brother Lloyd Burns. He is survived by: his children, Janet Walsh (Pat) of Lyndon and Richard Burns (Carmen) of Lyndon; his grandchildren, Alex Walsh (Vicky), Nick Walsh (Ashlyn), Joe Walsh (Madison), Mason Burns (Lisa), Sydney Walsh and Rylan Burns; his great grandchildren, Waylyn, Clyde, Wyatt, Judah and Charley; and his brother Donald Burns Topeka (Carolyn).
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Feltner Funeral Chapel (818 Topeka Ave, Lyndon, KS 66451). Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Feltner Funeral Home (818 Topeka Ave, Lyndon, KS 66451).
