He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Bevitt and Dessie Bevitt (Hohman); and his siblings, Merlin Bevitt, Bob Bevitt and Marlene Ecklund.
He is survived by: his sister June Bentley of Texas; his children, Harlan "Dean" Bevitt (Julie) of Burlingame, KS, Della Phillips of Allen, KS, Donna Bevitt of Harveyville, KS and Dana Schutter (Galen) of Topeka, KS; and his grandchildren, Clinton Phillips, Montel Munoz, Joel Bevitt, Malachi Schutter, Mindy Casey and Katelyn Baker. He is also survived by 10 greatgrandchildren.
