He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Carlson and Kathleen Carlson (Kent). He is survived by: his wife Danielle Carlson; his children, Jacob Carlson and Breanne Carlson of Burlington; and his siblings, Sheryl Jakorber of Arvada, CO and Steve Carlson of Jamestown, NY.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
