With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Audra Hughes of Burlington, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 9, 2025 at the age of 88. In the vast expanse of eternity, Audra shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Audra farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Elbert "Ted" and Lois Lenore Lafferty (Morris); her husband Jim; and her brothers, Morris Lafferty and Darrel Lynn Lafferty.
She is survived by: her son Harlan Hughes of Eskridge, KS. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
