He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herbert Oehlert and Alice Oehlert (Olsen); his stepfather Horace Shaw; his sons, Troy Oehlert and Trent Oehlert (Molly); his grandchildren, Jason, Benjamin (Ben) and Samantha (Sami) of Lenexa, KS.; his siblings, Gary Oehlert of Haven, KS, Marilyn Owens (Steve), Emporia-Janiece Isch (Dale) and Colin Young; his former wife Marsha Troyer; his father-in-law Paul Troyer; and his wife Vola Young.
