He was predeceased by: his father John Akers, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Valletta Mautz Fellers (Mautz); his sister Anna; his sibling-in-law Spence Martin of Burlington; his siblings, Mary, Robert Henderson of Beaver, OK, Michael and Kim Fellers; and his siblings' children, Dominic Stremel, Bobby, Angie Crouch, Jake and Sabra (family: Sara, Nikki Hart).
