We announce the death of Marla Kay Massingill of Burlington, Kansas, who passed away on June 9, 2026, at the age of 67. Marla will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewel Edwin and Blondelle Charlene Weast (Little); her parents-in-law, Janie Massingill and Donnie Ray Massingill; and her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Ables, Francis Masingill, Lee VanTassel, George Croan and Ray Massingill.
She is survived by: her husband George; her children, Shawna Muehe (Michael) of Gardner, KS, Ryan Massingill (Annalise) of Emporia, KS and Ethan Massingill; her grandchildren, Kaylee, Parker, Trinity, Alex, Adeline and Oaklee Kay; and her siblings, Patty VanTassel of Gardner, KS, Lissa Russo and Paul Weast of Bonner Springs, KS. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.
