She was predeceased by: her parents, John S. Young and Eleanor K. Young (Jasper); her siblings, Claudine Jones, Arthur Young, Phyllis Heilam and Roger Young; and her granddaughter Christine Ashley Burdette.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Burdette (Jackie) of Templeton, IA, Vickie Martin (Bob) of Hamilton, John R. Burdette Jr. (John Sr.) of Emporia and Steven Maley (Dolcie) of Americus; and her sister Alberta Charlene Knoblock of Yates Center. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren.
