He was predeceased by: his parents, Werner Louis and LuElla Fischer (Gleue); and his siblings-in-law, Ed Archer and Patty Fischer. He is survived by: his wife Dayle Hammond; his children, Kayla Ohl (Kevin) of LeRoy, Dathan Fischer (Amanda) of Emporia and Chancy Fischer (Renee) of Burlington; his grandchildren, Kolgan Ohl (Logan) of LeRoy, Kyra Ohl of LeRoy and Karley Ohl of LeRoy; his children, Chloe Fischer of Emporia, Clara Fischer of Emporia, Ava Fischer of Burlington and Addison Fischer of Burlington; and his siblings, Glenn Fischer of Oswego, Mary Schmidt (John) of Mt. Hope, Alice Archer of LeRoy, Rhonda Scott (David) of Lawrence, Twila Theimer (Phil) of Topeka and Lynnette Bollinger (Tim) of Emporia.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home (801 Garrettson St, Burlington, KS 66839). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (114 2nd St, Westphalia, KS 66093).
