He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clifton and Ruth Marjorie Dole (Stanley); and his siblings, Lavonne Jeffrey, Clifton Dole, Richard Dole, Ruth Ann Banks, Stanley Dole and James Dole.

He is survived by: his wife Patty Dole of Burrton; his daughters, Stacey Moeder (Troy) of Hutchinson and Holly Lampe (Kevin) of St. Francis; his grandchildren, Logan Lampe of Brewster, Luke Lampe of McDonald and Lyden Lampe of Colby; and his sister Margery Howell of Hutchinson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or Ruth Dole Memorial Library, Burrton, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
