She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Newell and Vina Sue Newell; her husband Loren Hargadine; and her siblings, Wallace Newell, Richard Newell, Nancy Thompson, Lillian Drake, Rose Eatinger, Gilbert Newell, David Newell and MaryAnn Wallace.
She is survived by: her children, Lois Chiles (Phil) of Lansing, KS, Betty Robison of Horton, KS, Arthur Hargadine of Smolan, KS and Anna Crowley of Paola, KS; and her brother Ivan Newell of Lacy, WA. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews plus many friends.
