She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Werneke and Lillie Mae Werneke (French); her siblings, Opal Lebeda and Bob Werneke; her grandson Chad Schwertfeger; and her son-in-law Mick Eckermann.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Eckermann of Caldwell, KS. and Vonya Schwertfeger (Bill) of Caldwell, KS.; her grandchildren, Rohn Eckermann (Sheri) of Caldwell, KS, Kent Eckermann (Denise) of Caldwell, KS, Craig Eckermann (Jenny) of Caldwell, KS and Tracey Overall (Chris) of Arkansas City, KS.; her nieces, Bev Jayroe of Caldwell, KS, Karen Hoffman (Mark) of Okene, OK and Lea Ann Hobbs (Dale) of Lamont, OK.; and her nephew Larry Werneke (Sandy) of Manhattan, KS.. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Sunflower Cottage Activity Fund and sent in care of the mortuary.
