With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Davis (Caney, Kansas), who passed away on October 14, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dee Francis Ross and Martha Sarah Ross (Vernon); her husband Everett "Mick" Davis (Mick); her sisters, Virginia Lee, Beverly Hartwig and Betty Davis; and her granddaughter JanNeil Davis Clarkson.
She is survived by: her sisters, Deanna Looney and Flossie Melton; her children, Tammy Lynn Davis Caresio of South Coffeyville and Everett Davis Jr. (Barbara Davis) of Neodesha, Kansas.; her grandchildren, Buckley Wright (Bridget), Adam Wright (Tara), Beau Caresio, Jordan, Christopher Caresio, Brianna, Christi Heatly (Rick) and Derek Davis (Kim); and her close friend Liz Carlisle.
The family suggests memorials in Shirley's memory to Sacred Heart Catholic Church Altar Society; contributions may be left with or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
