Eugene Hammersmith Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eugene Hammersmith (Carbondale, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Hammersmith (Dutch) and Thecla Hammersmith (Tex); and his siblings, Patricia, Steve, Janice and Barbara.
He is survived by: his wife Sondra Hammersmith (Sandi); his daughters, Christina Craig (Chris) and Michelle Hazel; his son-in-law Robert; his children, Charles Hammersmith (Chuck) and Kim Thomas; his son-in-law Jason; and his brothers, Kenneth and Terence. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Of Christian Fellowship (430 Commercial St, Carbondale, KS 66414).
