He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Bader (Vaughn); his parents, Joseph Bader and Louise Bader (Schultz); his brother Billy Joe Bader; and his grandchildren, Taylor Lutgen, Monica Bader, Caldyn Wasinger and Graeme Murphy.
He is survived by: his children, Sheryl Budke (Robert) of Beloit, KS, Doug Bader (Mary) of Cawker City, KS, Steve Bader (Callie) of Cawker City, KS, Sheila Lutgen of Beloit, KS, Darrin Bader (Vanessa) of Louisburg, KS, Darrell Bader (Lisa) of Manhattan, KS, Chris Bader (Allison) of Bismarck, ND and Karen Niemczyk (Andy) of Beloit, KS.; his sisters, Joyce Moore of Osborne, KS, Bonnie Penn of Benton, KS, Madonna Fischer of Salina, KS and Kathy Smith of Salado, TX.; and his sister-in-law Leota Marr of Commerce City, CO.. He is also survived by his 27 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church (612 12th St, Cawker City, KS 67430). A rosary was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to the Pet Connection or St. Jude's.
