With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Melvin Delay of Cawker City, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Charlie" Delay and Darlene Delay (Grover); and his siblings, Ron Delay and Terri Delay. He is survived by: his wife Eva of Cawker City; his daughters, Tausia Cornelson (DeWayne) of Tyrone and Stacia Long (Les James) of Liberal, Kansas; his sisters, Dixie Symons (Bee) and Pam Bennett (Jim); his grandchildren, Shayla Scott (Chris), Triston Cornelson (Kaitlin), Kambrie Long and Kaiden Long (Dallas); his great grandchildren, Freyja, Keaton and Josie; and his stepchildren, Laurie Sample, Mary Albers, Joshua Bryant of Windsor, CO, Anne Bryant and Hays. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives.
Memorials may be given to the NCK Genealogical Society or Solomon Valley Community Foundation.
