Betty Jean Rayl Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Jean Rayl of Cedar Vale, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 12, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Jean Rayl to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Marshall Barker and Evelyn Ruth Barker (Robinson); her husband Jessie Rayl; and her brother Carl Barker. She is survived by: her daughters, Gwendolyn McBee (John) of Cedar Vale and Jennifer King of Gilbert, Arizona; her grandchildren, Heather Ingram, J. T. McBee, Rachel Salcedo (Eric) and Garret Pudden; and her great grandchildren, Kylea Stone (William), Mila Salcedo, Dashel Salcedo and J. P. McBee.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (418 Monroe St, Cedar Vale, KS 67024). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family has suggested memorials to the Cedar Vale Memorial Library or the Spartan Trap Team and those can be left in care of the Dickens Family Funeral Home, 209 N. Douglas, Sedan, KS 67361.
