He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his adoptive son Greg (Megan) of Portland, OR; his niece Babbi Coffer (Mark) of Sparta, MO; and his nephew Don "Opie" McCarty (Debbie Farr) of Springfield, MO. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cedar Vale City Cemetery (205 Kingman St, Cedar Vale, KS 67024).
