He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Magnus and Lenia Mae Juul (Foraker); his granddaughter Taylor Gene Vogele; and his siblings, Clarence "Sonny" Juul, Robert "Bob" Juul, Peter "Pete" Juul, Melinda Snyder (Rosy), Elaine Kelso (Juul), Joann Moore (Juul) and Leda Juul.
He is survived by: his children, Chuck Juul (Melissa), David Juul (Bronika), Miles Juul, Johnna Vogele (Clint), Lisa O'Neal (Ryan) and Catherine Juul (Michael); his siblings, Sam Juul (Pam), Teresa Daniels, Mary Douglas (Bryan), Molly Walker (Ray), Lena Duncan (Jim) and Christina Johnston; and his siblings-in-law, Ed Snyder and Cheryl Juul Burns. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
