It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wallace Thompson of Cedar Vale, Kansas, who passed away on April 27, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Thompson and Margaret Thompson (Holryod); his former wife Karen Junkins; his son Corbin Scott Thompson; his siblings, Jerry Martin Thompson, Kenneth Dale Thompson and Judith Carol Owens; his grandson Christian; and his sons-in-law, Dave Smith and Craig Peri.
He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth O'Bryan (Rob) of Burden, Virginia Smith (Gordon Kaiser) of Winfield, Kim Fleetwood (Wayne) of Arkansas City and Misty Weaver of Winfield; and his siblings, Mark Allan Thompson and Martha Naoma Timblin.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miles Funeral Service (4001 E 9th Ave, Winfield, KS 67156). A graveside service was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ozro Falls Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in Lynn's name for the Kansas Veterans Home. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
