Betty Ann Coester Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Betty Ann Coester in Chanute, Kansas. Betty Ann, born on April 24, 1935 in Walnut, Kansas, passed away on September 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oren A. Baugh (Skinny) and Etta L. Baugh (Burger); and her husband Don Coester. She is survived by: her children, Nancy DeLange (Pat), Steve Coester, Bonnie Guinotte (Kevin) and Missi Allen (Kenny); her sister Virginia Kay Myers; her son Kevin Ray Coester; her grandchildren, Kolter DeLange and Alyssa Allen; her siblings, Howard Baugh and Norma Jean McMurry; Cindy Garland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Westview Baptist Church (1415 S Plummer Ave, Chanute, KS 66720). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the Kolter DeLange Memorial Scholarship Fund or Westview Baptist Church and can be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
