He is survived by: his wife Martha McKinney; his daughter Aubrey McKinney (Steve Reed); and his grandchildren, Shadow McKinney, Nik Gillespie and Amanda.

Family has asked that memorials in honor of Chris be made to Castaways Animal Shelter, and they can be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
