He was predeceased by: his parents, George Carlson and Czerna Carlson (Hill); and his son Dale Lee Carlson. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Carlson of Earlton; his daughters, Kathy Kay Rector (Charles) of Baxter Springs, Kansas, Loretta Jean Johnson (Terry) of Erie, Kansas and Mary Sue Masters (Dean) of Eureka, Kansas.; his sister Janice Jamriska of California; and his grandchildren, Mary Jane West, James Carlson, Acey Welch Jr., Jason Carlson, Brandon Robb, Russell Dale Carlson, Devin Gilbert, Tiffany Johnson and Jacob Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wickham Family Funeral Home - Chanute (500 N Forest Ave, Chanute, KS 66720). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Earlton Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Faith Bible Church and can be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
