He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Kinkel and Gertrude Kinkel (Stevens). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Kinkel; his children, Mark Kinkel (Susan) of Freedom, Steven Kinkel (Lisa) of Chanute and Carrie Shouse (Scott Kariker); his sisters, Beryl Schey of Minnesota and Susie Alvarez of Minnesota; his grandchildren, Stephanie Swirin (Justin), Lindsey Zimbleman (JR), Manley Kinkel, Daniel Kinkel (Hanna Lincoln), Hannah Hale (Matt), Skyler Shouse (Morgan Cox) and Cassidy Shouse (Alexis Bell); and his great grandchildren, Zadie, Liam, Kylie, Natalie, Jack, Bo, Remi, Joanna, Lydia, Ethan, Evelyn, Evie, Olivia, Waylon and Hutson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family has suggested memorials to the First Baptist Church Children's Fund (220 N. Chautauqua, Sedan, KS 67361) in Sedan and the Westview Southern Baptist Church Children's Fund (1415 S. Plummer, Chanute, KS 66720) in Chanute.
