He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Shields and Hazel Mable Shields (Anderson); and his wife Janice. He is survived by: his son Brian Shields; his grandchildren, Jessica Shields, Brian Shields Jr. and Sierra Shields; his brothers, Radford Shields and John Shields; and his sister-in-law Kathy. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
