Though Walter Andrew may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Walter Andrew touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Cook and Jennie Cook (Reynolds); his wife Phyllis Marie Cook; his siblings, David Cook, Carolyn Whittaker and Joy Amelia Briggs; and his great-niece Amanda Rae Cook.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Pascoe of Colorado. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Urbana Cemetery (12543 Irving Rd, Chanute, KS 66720).
